Lord God,
As Ash Wednesday approaches, we remember our sin and mortality. Through Adam's sin, death and judgment entered the world. All is as it should not be. Suffering surrounds us. In silence we groan our need for deliverance from this world.
Thank You for the free gift that is not like the effect of Adam's sin. Abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness are exercised in the life of Jesus Christ. We thank You that through His obedience, many will be made righteous! Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven. We acknowledge our sins before You, and they are forgiven. Blessed are those who abide in Christ!
